Sometimes I just wake up in the morning and I feel like I have to move my body. I guess being in the confines of the boat all the time just makes you want to move. We decided to make use of this energy and rowed to the beach for an early morning workout. We follow a bodyweight workout routine and usually it’s just hard work and not really all that much fun. This time we decided to add some head/hand-stand action to the mix, and it made all the difference. So much fun!
We rewarded ourselves with a nice little breakfast in the local beach bar, and headed into “town” to find some wifi. Turns out Isola Rossa is really tiny, just a few houses along two tiny beaches. We managed to find a bar with free Wifi, and enjoyed a little vino over lunch there.
Next thing on the todo list was trying to find a pharmacy where I could get my medication. We walked the first pharmacy, and after much gesturing and speaking Spanish, English and Italian at the same time we found out that this was really more of a chemist and we had to go to another pharmacy to get my pills.
At the second pharmacy we learned that I would have to go and see a local doctor to get an italian prescription. Luckily there was a 24/7 medical center, which we found promptly. The doctor there could easily have been my son, I guess I’m getting older after all. He also must have been asleep when we got there, as he really struggled through the paperwork. The funniest thing is that he told me that I have to pay 8 Euro’s for the doctors visit at an post office. Yes, filling out forms and finding an post office, just like the eighties! The next post office was in a little town in the mountains, no way for us to walk there, so I guess we’ll pay next time we come across a post office.
While waiting for me at the doctors office, Camilla made herself useful and unpacked all the groceries that we had bought on the way there to leave the plastic in the neatly separated bins in the waiting room. They must have seriously wondered what the hell was going on when they saw all of our packaging in their bins! 😀
Back to the boat we saw a load of fish under the boat. The water was so clear that we decided to get the GoPro out and film how the fishies make it through handfulls of our muesli – so much fun!
Warum entsorgt ihr die Verpackung denn nicht gleich im Supermarkt?
